    Beautiful bird, I also like the composition and setting and wish the head were angled toward us. The bill looks a bit oversharpened, there are jaggies between upper and lower mandible and I might remove the one very light blade of grass left of the chest of the bird.

    Hi HB - I like the way you've worked this composition and its nice to see a cousin of the sandhill crane. Good reco from Axel to ease the sharpening. Oh, and I like the habitat background you are showing here.
