Beautiful bird, I also like the composition and setting and wish the head were angled toward us. The bill looks a bit oversharpened, there are jaggies between upper and lower mandible and I might remove the one very light blade of grass left of the chest of the bird.

Hi HB - I like the way you've worked this composition and its nice to see a cousin of the sandhill crane. Good reco from Axel to ease the sharpening. Oh, and I like the habitat background you are showing here.

Nicely done Harshad, love the natural BG, red head and all those feather details. just wish for slightly more head turn towards you.
