We tried without much success to get all four of my grandkids in the same general area for a portrait but Idris, the smallest, was recalcitrant so I shall share my favorite images of the four of them with you over the next few nights.

This is Sam Egensteiner, son of my older daughter Jennnifer Morris and son-in-law Erik Egensteiner. Sam will be 11 in June. He is very bright and very quiet. As I did at his age, he loves to read.

What a handsome young man! I bet the girls go gaga over those blue eyes and blonde curly hair. ;)

Thanks Julie. He is not yet interested at all in the opposite sex except when rough-housing with his sister Maya whose image I will post next time. Though Maya is half Sam's size she often starts it and does not back down. And when I say rough-housing I mean rough!

Young Sam knows what he wants Mr. Morris...He likes books, a very good quality; he is quiet, bright, studious and observant, this is a good thing, now the only thing needed is for Grandpa Morris to introduce him to the wonderful art of photography...:)

Thanks Gus. Grandpa Morris has already done that and Sam has shown an interest. Grandpa Morris however does not want to push :)

Hi Art, Nice looking lad and you must be proud. A month ago I found out my first grandchild is on the way and I can't express how wonderful it is. I just have to get used to being called grandpa....

Heck, I was very proud when I had some hair (let alone curls).

It was nasty on the jetty yesterday afternoon and today must have been other-worldly but I headed back to LI early this am. No traffic!
