    Took time out from shooting wildlife whilst in beautiful countryside. Thought freezing the water would add to the icy feel of the image. Merry Christmas.
    All c&c appreciated.

    Hey Stu,Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year! Even though you had mixed light I think you converted this well....pretty dramatic with the light. You may try and pull out some of the shadow areas to get the most of the tones there....just will help bring this up a notch.

    Hi Stuart, I too wish you a happy holiday. I feel Roman stated what I was thinking about bringing up the shadows a bit. I feel the comp works as is but could also see taking a bit off the top to a little above the branch that crosses the creek....

    Stuart, I would also like to see the shadows opened up on this one. I like the composition and tones.

    Stuart,

    I had to come back to this one a few times but have decided that I like the moody feel of the light and dark areas and how they play together. I would have like to see a slower shutter speed used here too to give the water a softer look.
