    Here another Dipper. The shot was made on a local river.

    Nikon D90
    Sigma 150-500mm @500
    F6.3, ISO 320, 1/1250

    Gabi I like the light angle a lot and the BG helps a lot to isolate the bird. You managed very well the exposure and composition works for me but I would add a bit more room at the left and would crop a bit of the top to place the bird near the upper left corner to follow the rule of thirds. Another round of nose reduction to the BG would improve the image a lot. Hope this helps :)

    Light, angle, pose, eye contact and BG look very good. I also like the wide crop but agree with Juan that putting the bird a tad further to the right would make it even stronger. Keep them coming!
