hi Denise, this is a bit uncanny as I used the same technique on an image of a flock of swirling Snow Buntings I recently photographed and wasn't sure about the results. I like the abstract quality of both of them, but I think you said it well.. not better, but different :)
Denise - Fractalius is definitely addictive - I'm fracting everything that moves:D
P.S. How do you post a before/after the way you did without halving the size of each image and pasting
onto a new page?:o

I like it! I love the stepwise highlights of the wingbeats - looks really cool.
Cheryl, I just add canvas to the first image using the same height or width as the orig. image depending on the orientation. Then I add the other image by dragging it onto the added canvas. Then save for the web at BPN size.
Thanks folks I appreciate the feedback!
Very nice blur, Denise, and I like how the fractalius emphasizes the swirling lines of the birds' wings. Well done :)
Nice image and application Denise.
I like both about the same, but think the after is different therefore worth showing.
I think it could use a little more open area on the top, as the left two birds are bouncing off the border, as it is! ;) But ...
