    Just wandering my backyard and noticed this Tillandsia had colored up.

    20d, tamron 28-75, f4.5, iso400, 1/800

    I like the comp good use of selective DOF. The mutiple repeating shapes are interesting.

    I think I would try a crop off the right edge to draw more attention to all the details in the rest of the image.

    Great shot with excellent choice of DOF.
    I agree on Robert's crop suggestion, but flipping this 90 degrees CW and cropping it square might also work nicely.
