    Canon 1DIIN, 600mm f/4 with 1.4 TC and extension tube, 1/500 at f/13

    I like the repeat in this image with the out of focus flower on the left which is why I did not crop closer. What does everyone else think of the composition?

    Works well for me. Yellows seem a bit harsh, but otherwise very nice. I might be tempted to clone the imperfections in the wings.

    I see your thinking there Art but IMO the negative space left side is just too dominant - I think a vertical format here would work best for me.

    Paul and John stated my feelings exactly.

    A Horiz crop would work if both elements were a little more aligned on a horiz plane and the left object had space below it and wasnt cut off. This would have meant moving up about a foot and maybe stepping to the right for more separation.

    Hi Art,

    I think a vertical crop would improve this shot much.
    Also cloning out the imperfections in the BF's wings and toning down the whole photograph a bit would make this stronger.

    Hey Art, I agree with the vertical crop, the yellow flower to the left doesn't do anything to enhance the image. Excellent job on the details and BG.
