    Default Eagle Portrait

Taken this fall near Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Cropped, replaced washed out sky, toned down highlights a bit, increased contrast, increased saturation to bring out colour in beak, sharpened.

Very nice portrait, sharp eye and beak, the angle gave a heroic feeling to the eagle which goes very well with the replace sky. I might try to reduce the noise on the black feather. Wish the shadow on the neck wasn't there, it looks too much like a sky.

Steep angle, harsh light, and yet all together it is a great image.
Exp. nicely done, the sky with bit of clouds adds
    drama to the image. Congratulations!
I would tone down the shine on the bill a bit.

Could be it's me, but I can see some of the sky right on the neck of this beautiful eagle.
