I like it Kurt, real nice mood with that bg !! Might take a little of the bottom and stop down for dof if possible !!

Excellent action and with two good head positions and clearly visible eyes !! ... I can close to seeing a real fight on my last trip.. they are usually violent !!

Hi Kurt. Go with Al with a little off the bottom. As a rule, I never sharpen the whole scene and only the subject. However, rules are made to be broken. When I see snow, i'll give the whole scene a round of smart sharpen as it makes a difference. try it. Can bin if don't like. Best for Xmas. Did a bit just to say this is what I was thinking.

I think you captured the essence of the sparring very well, Kurt. I like the wet coats. David's rework has added some snap to an already fine image. Well done.

    Kurt,

I like Dave's repost - what I was going to suggest. Also very good idea on the snow sharpening from Dave.

Please post shutter speed and ISO as well. Alfred mentioned getting more DOF and ISO, speed and aperture all contribute to the exposure. Knowing that helps us to better target our critique. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Robert. I had this jpeg already saved on my laptop (RAW file on desktop) and didn't have the info. Normally I do post those things. I think I was at ISO 400 and f/6.3 or 5.6, but couldn't remember. BTW, f/5.6 is as good as I could get with that set up. Since then I have sold my 70-200 f/4 for a 70-200 f/2.8 for those reasons. Thanks again!
