OK, so it's not the movie.

Occasionally it is quite nice to step out from a shot, and try to give it context, something I am trying to do more & more.

Second vehicle into the park meant that the chances of finding fresh pugmarks was high and we were not disappointed in what we located. Within 15 mins we found our beast, asleep and quite content, chasing Sika, Chital and of course Sambar in their dreams, set against probably, the most spectacular backdrop. Ironic, that this most majestic of all cats, now plays host within the grounds of a famous hunting lodge, where almost 1200 Tigers lost their lives.

Things have now changed for the good and they are now the Maharajas of Jaipur, surveyors of all they see, a great testimony to the Park, Officials & visitors:)

Finally, to Ken Watkins, thank you for introducing me to a great site, Harshad, our paths will cross my friend and India, will ROCK!, and to all who have commented, now and in the future, thank you!

Have a great Xmas and happy snapping for 2010, but lets be safe out there.;)

Love this image Steve, just perfect as presented, lot of feel and enjoyable to look at !!! I find doing the larger picture so much more difficult than zeroing in on the animal ! Well done and Big Congrats

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and the very best for the coming year !!!

Very nice, Steve. I like the overall comp divided into 4 layers giving the image a feeling of depth. Love the napping tiger. Excellent.

Nice shot Steve! ( a well conceived critique if ever I saw one)

I suppose to be entirely fair I should thank Andy Rouse for introducing me to Steve and also via a totally indirect route introducing me to this site.

In fact thanks to everyone on this remarkable forum!
