Another first for us, an animal that used to roam South Africa, but is now limited to parks and conservation areas, also known as the white tailed gnu.

Taken in Mountain Zebra National Park, Eastern Cape, South Africa 18th December 2009

    500mm F4 IS bean-bag

    F6.3, 1/640, ISO800

Is this uglier than the normal Gnu (Wildebeest)?

Not sure Ken. certainly a close call. (depends on the voting). Nicely done and good eye contact. Thanks for sharing and blessings for tomorrow.
