    This image is straight out of the camera and has only been resized for posting .. .zero work. How would you crop and enhance .. have fun !!!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

    Nikon D300
    300 f4.0
    ISO 500
    f 5.6 1/1600
    Manual exp (don't remember comp)

    Hey Mr. Forns,
    I respectfully reserve my comments to the end, pending to see the fine contributions from our BPN brothers and sisters. This is a good exercise in composition, image enhancement and post processing skills...:):cool:

    Interesting exercise - for me, no crop was immediately obvious. The rooster tail is dynamic and I wanted to keep it. The reflection seemed important and interesting, but it wasn't all there which felt uncomfortable. Then I wanted room in front for the bird to take off into. So here's my rather pedestrian crop. And I am still not sure it is what I would settle upon. It is amazing to me how difficult this image has been to crop well. It's like there is all this potential in the image, but I can't quite encapsulate it.
