Lovely portrait with excellent exposure and beautiful eye contact as well as the mating colors. I do find the crop to be a bit tight in the front and it would be nice to have a slight more head turn. Fine work and thanks for posting.

Very well done and yes to Judy's head turn suggestion. The subject needed to wash its neck and clean its bill. Seriously, once you get into this you will begin to notice imperfections in your subjects and search for a perfect one. Of course, Photoshop is an option.

Nice work. I agree that this image would improve with a slight head turn. I'd also like to see the bird's eye a bit higher in the frame. There is some noticable photoshop work around your subject, but most noticably at the crown, that I would remove.

Super composition and use of space. I would only add that the whites might pop a bit more but that is a matter of taste. Well done.
