Nice detail on the birds body and wings and I like the coloring. Looks like your lens and/or sensor could use a cleaning.

Love the pose and the sharpness of the face and the far wing. The near-wing position and blur works perfectly. Looks way too dark so I pulled the curve up.

Good job Ofer. When I saw your version I realized that we both had missed the green/cyan cast....

Thanks Artie, I don't see a too stong green cast on the bird in my repost but I see a red cast on the bird in your last repost.

Terrific eye contact, pose and BG Gerrie. The image needs just a bit of contrast boosting in my opinion. Superb job:)

It would be interested to see our laptops side by side :)

The above spells out what is often the case, numerous PC's & laptops world wide. no matter how well colour balanced, they will never agree. So I think if you would like a different colour correct it on your comp. and enjoy it !!

This is unfortunately true. Actually, it is quite easy to calibrate a monitor using "Spider pro" or similar software. Without us using calibrated monitors it is quite difficult to have a decent discussion in such a critique forum.

Thank you for viewing & commenting guys. It is much appreciated.:) Guess I'll stick to the original untill the greens & reds are sorted out. Without the dust bunnies that is.:o Happens when an old man wants to give a young lady a thrill by swopping lenses in a breeze to allow her the opportunity to shoot with a big lens.:D

Hi Gerrie, I am late to the party but wanted to chime in and say that I like the image for the positives stated above. Pose composition, and eye contact are all great. Interesting discussion on color. I kind of like the bird being a lighter but like the background in your original. Thanks for sharing.
