Big Warm Welcome Gerri ... posting the first one is always an adventure :) If you would have told me it was Bosque Bobcat I would have done it for you :)

Would just tighten the crop a bit for having the animal larger in frame, just a little tad form the left (new term ...) and some form bottom to the grass line then a bit from the top to eliminate the dark bright area.

Fine looking image any way you look at it, never seen one of these guys over there .. was this around the Marsh loop? Big Congrats on this one Razor sharp, well exposed and a great pose !!!

    Hi Gerri,
A big warm welcome to our BPN family...:) Mr. Forns covered the techs. I like this capture and image very much, showing your subject in its natural habitat. I like the color rendition and details...looking forward to your next one...

Thank you for the crop suggestion. I'll see if it'll take the extra cropping (those 18MP may come in very handy!)
Yes, it was the Marsh loop. Got several pix of them at sunset (there were two here but couldn't get them both in focus) and then saw a female after sunrise 2 days later, close to the same location.
I'd like to post a few more for some crop suggestions, if it's ok.

Welcome Gerri. What a great looking cat. You captured it well, with good detail and exposure. Crop helps to concentrate on the subject. Well done!
