It has been my tendency since joining here to post images that in my eye I am on the fence with instead of those I am confident in. Does this photo do anything for any one, I have thick skin so don't hesitate to say what you want ? It was taken at MINWR under the most gorgeous setting sun I can recall on a cold Dec. day. I actually toned down the saturation because the sky looked too fake out of the camera.

I like the mood in this one. I would crop a bit off the top and wish there was no overlap between some of the birds.

I agree with Axel. You captured a great mood with wonderful color in the sky but I think Axel's suggestion on cropping would strengthen this image. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful evening with us.

    Hey Mike,

I like it. I would crop a ton off the top. Here's what else I would do: #1: lose the last bird in th flock. Get rid of the two sets of merged birds, the two in the center and the two front right. The image will be much more pleasing.

My two cents: always post your best stuff till you run out. Trust me, there is a ton to learn. I post my best and most times learn something pretty cool.
