Had an absolute blast this morning with Artie at Eliz. Morton NWR on Long Island. (He wrote about this place in the most recent BAA). Birds were plentiful and active and the scene was delightful with still fresh snow. We played alot with perches, but some of my fav images from the morning are simply birds in the snow.

The motion of the sparrow is conveyed so well in this image, and the expression on the bird's face echoes the intensity of movement. One imagines the summit is in sight!

Killer action image. I told you that you were way faster on the dram than me! A healthy crop from below would strengthen this one.

Ofer, Please note: Unfortunately I have been seeing way too many "Great shot" and "I love this image" posts recently (like yours above). At BPN we strive to provide honest critiques done gently. If you think that an image is great, or sweet, please let us know what it is about the image you love, what the strong points are, what makes it dramatic or interesting or pleasing. You are great at critiquing so please be sure to include something substantive with each comment. Thank you sir.

Simply loved this shot. Fantastic action conveyed will with the blur of the legs. Loved the way it is hopping between the gaps.

This is a cute shot and I like it a lot, agree with losing space on the bottom. TFS.
