    Default CS3 v CS2

I am a bit late to the party on this, but I have never upgraded my copy of CS2 to CS3. I just never found a need to. I downloaded the trial a long time ago, and unfortunately I cannot try it out again, therefore cannot compare the two very well.
I am ready now andI assume it is worth the upgrade. Any comments anyone has before I pull the trigger again would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

The major reason for me is the new version of ACR 4.3.1, which is so much better than the version supported in CS2. There are a few other new features in CS3, but that was not the determining factor in my case.

If you use the photo merge function, you will find that the stitching has improved significantly between these two versions.

Besides the above, and many other improvements in CS3, ACR, and Bridge, Adobe will no longer support CS2 with upgrades. therefore any new cameras will not be able to open RAW files. I know that money doden't grow on tres and cloning it doesn't work, however for the $200 to upgrade it is a good deal.
