Do you think he's tuned her out? This Northern Shoveler couple makes me smile as it seems to me that the female is just talking away, oblivious to her mate---and he, in turn, has that "there she goes again" look. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Quack, quack . . . life would be very dull (and quiet) without that welcome "noise" . . . agree about taking some off the top. Would also be nice with a catchlight in the Missus' eye.

Hi Katie Tough exposure and you came out well !!! Whites are just on the edge, might have gone one third less light for extra detail ... I know it would block the shadows but the whites are up front and visible.

Agree on the crop and you came up with a might fine image, head angle wise looks fine, the girl is glancing at the other duck and does have a cute face :) Excellent !!!

What a funny caption Katie! Exposure looks good to me. Another vote for cropping a bit off the top.

Agree with tighter crop advise given, love the Shoveler's bill. Nice one Katie, you made me smile!
