    Hey all,

I have been trying to grab some well needed R&R with the family and stay away from the computer the past few weeks, before I head out again at the end of the month.

    1Ds Mark III, 600mm w/1.4x
    Manual, spot off snow +2.3 EV, 1/500 @ f5.6, ISO 800
    Post-production-LR3, CS4

See you where there is light, or at the computer

Pbear with a seal meal is special !!! Technically perfect as usual !! Can only wish the eye was totally visible in the reflection ... interesting the reflection itself can make a neat looking image !!! Big Congrats !!!

Well Chas I have to confess that apart from Tigers, PB's are my other soft spot.:D

Good to see them with a kill, albeit small. Dragging the kill, the motion of walking all adds to the shot. I do like the reflection, however the subtlety might get missed on first glance. Perhaps?

Long may these beasts inhabit our planet. :)

Beautiful shot, Chas. All of your shots make me think of Coffee-Table books and I mean that in the best way. Take care.

Like the way he is dragging the seal across the ice. Also part of the reflection. I find this more interesting then if you had the whole reflection.

Great detail in the fur, and interesting reflection plus of course a beautiful animal.
