    Very nice capture here Stuart. Great to see it.

    I love them too and boy are they wild when they are here (frozen over now so they have moved). Maybe that is part of why I love them, I mean because of the challenge of capturing. ;)


    This one looks like you might brighten a bit. PS Levels adjustment set at 0/0.94/228 is a suggestion as there are not many true whites in the OP. Try it and see what you think.

    Stuart:

    They are great subjects, and fly slow enough that they are easier to capture than some of the little speed demons.

    I agree with Kim about brightening the image a bit. He is sharp, nice wing position, angle in the frame, like the cocked talons.

    What makes this image special for me is the soft dark background behind the sharp, in-focus head.

    Nice flight freeze and comp Stuart. I'd like a better head angle, and would also recommend a levels or contrast adjustment.

    Like the light and the colors ! I agree it does need some rotation adjustment.
