    One of many willet images from Sanibel last month. This one taken 15 minutes before sunset at Blind Pass. C&C appreciated.

    That sweet light really does wonders to the plumage of this bird. The leg lift is great, as is the eye. Nice BG.

    I like the light and raised leg and wish the bird were angled toward you. Would a lower angle have been possible?

    Thanks Axel. I was on my knees in the surf, looking toward the beach and trying to keep the camera dry. I'm not sure I could have gotten much lower for this one, for fear of an incoming wave.
