another ground level shot of this beautiful one.
i had a space on top as well but i did like to include the reflection here which adds drama in the image to me so i've cropped from top.

Mital....loved the simplicity of the image a lot. Very artsy. Crop works for me. A little CW rotation is needed. Well done.

I agree on the rotation and might crop a tad off the bottom. Nice light, low angle, and exposure.

I like this. The rotation noted. I like the composition as is. I wish the eye area were a bit more defined. Lovely water color.

Handsome image, Mital. I agree with Denise about the lovely water color, and the eye. In my limited experience with this species I found that the eye always seemed dark. On my best image I resorted to adding a tiny catchlight, which helped a bit. But your image is much better -- especially the low capture angle. Well done.

    Hi Mital

Great repost on this photo. I like the simplicity and low angle on this photo and smooth soft background. I am hoping to catch up with some of these next summer in their artic breeding grounds. We had a Grey Phalarope here recently which was completely oblvious to people and had some good fun photographing it.

    Cheers

    Rich
