    Default Black headed Gull

    Shutters @ 1/800 s
    Aperture @ 5.6
    ISO 200 .
    Shot with a Canon 1D Mk III, 600 f4 IS , 1.4 TC .
Approaching these birds was an issue because of the receding tide . But a huge learning that waders are best approaced with incoming high tide :).
Wrongly written as 'brown headed gulls' in the pic.
    Cheers,
    Rakesh

Rakesh...liked it a lot. The combo of sharp and blurred birds is working very well here. And loved the inclusion of habitat. In ideal world, there would not be clipped wings, but we dont live in one.

I like the exposure, comp, and the banking poses, but agree on the clipped wings at the bottom.

Nice group flight, sharpness and light. Do you have more room at the bottom for the two clipped wings?

Great shot Rakesh. I looked at this one for a long time as it is a very compelling image.
