Stunning image Jim with a killer BG and beautiful lighting Outstanding eye contact and the blurred wings gives a great sense of action and speed. Congratulations on such superb timing and capture.

Eye contact and the tongue make this one for me. I also like the BG and fanned tail and only wish for a little less wing blur.

Like the posture, eye contact & BG. Exposure is spot-on & wing blur hightens sense of movement. Great image!:)

Great eye, beak, tongue. I don't mind the blurred wings. Great BG but, if mine, would try to tone down the bright greens to make the bird stand out just a bit more.

Wing blur is great on this. Gives a nice sense of motion. Nice sharpness where you need it and the BG adds to the overall image

Great work Jim... I really like the contrast between sharp head/eye and the blurred wings. Really like the position and overall composition too. Congrats.
