    Hi John and welcome. Excellent detail and eye contact as well as a killer BG. I very much like the pose too. My only nit would be the two branches behind the birds head and also the one near the beak. I think if you cloned those out you would have a much stronger image. Thanks for sharing !.

    I echo Judy's advise. If you are not comfortable with taking out branches, and some people are not, next time around try to pay extra attention to detail so in camera composition is the best given the situation.

    Excellent creamy BG in this image. I third Judy's advice and also would like to see more room in front of him.
