    Default Brown Pelican #2

Here is the next one in the series of the Brown Pelican I had posted earlier. The pelican was close and I clipped the wings while composing. I decided to use a different crop to show more of the Pelican itself along with the trail of water droplets. Settings were -

1/1600 sec, f/8, Mode: Av Exp comp: -2/3 ISO: 400 hand held.

Does this crop work? All C&C will be appreciated.

It works for me, Indranil. I think the bird could use some sharpening and a levels adjustment would make it pop more. I like the water drops! :)

Second Anita's comments, some sharpening and level adj would indeed make it pop more.
    Good eye contact.

I like it, second one better. I loved these birds when I lived in teh Bay Area, and still miss them.

I might try darkening the water a little, but not sure iof it would be be an improvement.

Repost looks better and I like how you made the cut on the wings, works !! Just wish the right wing was showing more underside !!

Light must have been getting tough, the white breast is at the edge but the head is a bit under !! Can lighten in PS !!

Hi - Repost works better for me - OP was a little soft, agree with AL on the right wing. Techs look solid.
    Keep em coming :)

Al, yes, the whites are just at the edge! I will lighten up the head in the master.
