    Default Out To Dinner

I happened upon this Osprey having a fish for dinner. Hope you enjoy.

    Beautiful pose.

If it wee mine I think I'd try to remove the branch in front of the breast and crop a little off the right - just to the right of the big tree - and about the same amouint off teh bottom.

Hi Maurice Just need to get closer to fill the frame a bit more !! If you find the nest which should be close by you will have chances at flight as the bird returns ... many chances !!!

Hi Maurice - Get closer if possible or add a tele converter to your lens.
Als advice is good - once you find the nest you will have many opportunities for flight shots as well.
    Looking forward to seeing more.

    Hi Maurice,
Agree with both Mr. Forns and Mr. Peters on the good advise given, would also compose by moving around to get the best capture angle so that the branches do not touch the wings...looking forward to your next one...

Agree about getting having bird tighter in frame, maybe zoom all the way to 400mm. The branches shown good environment but they are intersecting the bird too much, agree with Gus about moving around to find the best view. Love the pose, the eye contact and the prey at the claw is a good bonus.
