Wow - This is definitely a cover image for Colorado Wildlife Magazine. Just enough room on top for the Nameplate. Terrific position of the oncoming fox in the frame and I love the light coming in from the critter's right side, just illuminating that eye. The snow retains its beautiful texture and is picking up the icy blue from the sky. I'm definitely loving this one and I'm only just viewing it on my laptop. Take care.

Nice head on view. Also like the contrast between the warm fur and cool snow.

Superb head on portrait here Dan! The side lighting, fur detail, crusty snow and that look make for a special image here.

Fantastic shot, and a great implementation of light coming from the side. Would you share the story behind the capture? How did you come to such a fantastic position with respect to the fox?
