This is an image I took a couple of years ago (when I didn't know anything about bg, etc.). I used find edges
filter and then Topaz watercolor, then Dap watercolor to clean up the sticks. I'll post the original image I worked
on without the added dap for comparison.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions always welcome:)

Fantastic! I love the colors and the soft painterly feel to this. If it were mine I may have cloned the one stick in front of bird. Really nice rendering. I usually don't like the border on these but this one just works so well!:)

Beautiful painted effect, Cheryl. Love the border and texture. I might just remove the green spot above the heron.

Beautiful work, Cheryl. One would never know this began as a photographic image. So painterly! Again, beautiful work.

I really like the filtering you used here Cheryl. The pastel colors are lovely. The stick that Denise mentioned does draw my eye a tad, but I really like the effects you achieved here :)

Wonderful work Cheryl! The layers and colors in the BG are beautifully done. They blend well together and complement the entire scene. I like the border too.

I'm with Denise on cloning out the one stick but this is a beautiful pastel image, Cheryl. I really love the color palette on this one.
