Nice flight capture with a great complimentary BG. I also like the subtle sheen on the feathers. The little bump on the top of his bill looks a little hot and almost glowing.

I love the way the head, body and feet of the Coot, are tack sharp, also the way the sun hits the face and feet bringing out the colors Great work especially hand held.

That little bump that is a little hot is pretty much impossible to hold detail in when detail is wanted it the dark plumage. Compromise is what it's all about with these guys. Great shot Jim.
