I like the low angle, pastel colors, and the feeding behavior. I wish for a bit more eye contact, and perhaps a slightly brighter bird.

    Manos:

I think Doug covered the points well.

The blending of the water and background is very nice.

Manos, Very beautiful serene look to this. I like the feeding pose and the nice soft color tones.

I agree with Doug on the low angle, colors and behavior and lightening the bird too.

I am of a slightly different opinion on the eye contact, though I wish the eye was clearer I don't feel it needs to be looking at you because of what it is doing (feeding).

Feeding behavior, composition and BG look very good. I would also try to lighten the eye a bit.

Manos...very beautiful. Loved the low angle and the pose. But the best thing abt it is the glassy water surface. Very well done.

Manos, a very good effort and it shows up. The only thing which is missing IMHO in this otherwise beautiful picture is a slight glint in the eye. Definitely this picture will benefit a lot by a little bit lightening of the bird.
