    Here is a song sparrow singing its song in the marshes back in June.

    Song Sparrow
    Palo Alto Baylands, CA

    Sony A900 + Minolta 400/4.5 + 1.4x TC
    1/1600, f/8/ ISO 640, manual exposure, processed in LR2 + PS3, 50% crop.

    Love the singing pose Luis and the nice green BG. A little tight on the bottom. Did you try a vertical crop?

    Luis - I like the vertical crop. I might have taken a bit off the right and added a bit on the left, as personal preference. But in any event, a really lovely background and singing pose. Nicely done.

    Nice capture Luis. I like the vertical too. Terrific BG. I find there is a bit a sheen coming off parts of the feathers, especially above the eye and on the side. Maybe those could be toned down a bit. Also agree with Bill's composition suggestion. But these are small points for a wonderful image.

    I like the vertical crop as well. Great timing capturing him in full song!
