    Tufted Titmouse image captured in my backyard. Its a significant crop (18% of original pixels).

    Canon 30D with Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS
    1/250 sec at f/8, ISO 100, 400mm

    The background is quite close, so its kinda busy. I have darkened and desaturated the background a bit to help minimize it, but have not tried to blur it.

    C&C welcomed, of course.

    Not an easy subject to capture in the open. The BG is very busy keeping my eyes from your main subject.

    I really like images like this. They show the bird in context. If a titmouse is rarely seen out in the open then images out in the open somehow misrepresent the species. It's a roll of the dice what you get shooting into a mess of branches. Too bad about the light one in front of the heavier branch at the bottom- Ps to the rescue!
