Hi there!
I am brand new here and at the suggestion of Mike Pancier I am posting this picture to see if someone can id it. It was taken in an (tropical) aviary but even the website doesn't include the name.
Thanks!
Claudia

Welcome to BPN, Claudia! This is a tough one and I hope someone can help identifying the bird.
Welcome..This really was a tough one...I'd been searching online for about and hour, typing in all types of combinations for shrike like birds...then I went to my old standby where I can search by types of birds from all over the world
http://www.bird-stamps.org/
Took me a while..but this is called a Magpie Shrike also known as the African Long-Tailed Shrike found in southern part of Africa.

Thanks Everyone...really enjoy the challenge of ID'ing some of these birds...love the link image, thanks Tony
That photo of the bird in flight you linked to is fabulous. I would never expected thar wing span from how it was perched in the aviary. It's a beautiful little bird.
