Default Theme: Blur -- Yellow and Pink Dahlia

Taken last year using a Minolta 100 macro lens on a Konica Minolta 5D, tripod, natural light, f2.8,1/80, ISO 100. PP in PS7, using basic adjustments (can't remember which). Applied Radial Blur >Zoom, two times. Used mask and brush tool at varying opacities to bring center into focus, gradually blending into zoom.

Anita, Very nice zoom blur. I do wish the very center was just a bit sharper. Your gradual blending looks good and the colors are awesome!

Anita, beautifully composed zoom blur. Very nice colors and this has come out well with that gradual blending.

Beautiful blur, Anita! Love the colors and tight crop. Like Denise, I would like to see the center a bit sharper; but that's the only thing I would change.

Anita - the colors are wow! I'd like to see a tad more sharpness in the center but it's a beautiful image.

Anita, look up my belly button tutorial...it shows how to put a magnetic lasso around the center of the flower, then inverse the selection and zoom away.

You've got lovely colors and motion but I too wish the center were a bit more defined.

Jules: Is there a simple way of searching for your tutorial?
    Anita :-)
