The bg has a lot of habitat as we did not have a choice. The reeds were a part of the habitat and we ourselves were lying in a lot of slush for this bird to come close.

BG, water, action all great. I think a little CW rotation would be in order and think the image could go brighter. Love the water droplets

Hi Ramesh - This is an awesome image, my friend. I love the color and the lighting as well as the action pose with the water droplets. Get that baby level and you have a gallery hanger. Well done.

Great angle, sharpness and I also like the BG. I wish for some bill/wing separation and it looks a bit underexposed. Rotation has been mentioned.

    Ramesh-bhai,

Killer bird and light. After rotating it, I brightened it quite a bit. It needed it.

I gasped when this one opened. In a perfect world, the wings would have been fully swept back. That would have given us a better view of the near underwing and eliminated the merge of the bill tip with the far wing.

IAC, I would be very glad to have this one in my collection.

Great job in taking this action shot! As mentionned before, a small rotation with a a bit more light and this is a winner! Congratulations Ramesh!
