Default Theme/Blur: A Tale of Corruption, Tall Pines and Multiple Exposure

It's a long story. You can visit my blog for the details. Suffice it to say that yesterday's images were thought lost due to corrupt files on my CF card which cause a major CRASH. I spent 90 minutes on the phone with Adobe getting LR back up and running. I transferred all old images to a new file. I had to delete all images from yesterday. BUT THEN, later last night, I discovered a complete set of the images thought lost resting comfortably, and unaware of any corruption, on my external hard drive back-up. They once were lost but now they're found... and here for all to see!

This is a 10-image multiple exposure. Images shot at 1/50 sec @ f/11; ISO 400; -1/3 EV; AWB; FL 62mm

    Canon 30D; 24-70 2.8L; tripod-mounted for a bit more horizontal stability.

Image cropped to an 14x11 perspective.

I love it Ed, One of your best. I like the soft etched feel to this and the evergreen color is nice. Glad it was found.:)

Ed. this is one of my favorites of yours! I love the texture and the greens intermixed with the browns. Beautiful work!

Hi, Ed. As I said on your blog, I'm commenting on this image here.

I love the textures and colors of this image. A great multiple exposure. Nice range of lights and darks. I especially like the textured details and look!

I wish the light area of same-color the bottom were not there--the lightness pulls my eyes away, and the lack of other colors makes it less interesting. A more minor issue is the dark trunk 1/3 way in from the left side, which I wish were a bit lighter.

Looking forward to more of these.

Love the colors and the patterns and I even love the light area at the bottom as it serves to anchor the image for me. And through it all, we know that they are trees.. Well done.
