This fellow was gliding in my direction. He resides in Wakodahatchee Wetlands located in West Palm Beach Florida. He was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D - IF-ED , with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Hi Gus There is a secret for obtaining these guys with gorgeous under wind detail :) Most of the ones you see like that will be coming from the beach !! Sun reflects from the sand and acts like a reflector !!!
With these is about impossible to have a blue sky and detail under the wings ... and when we over expose the sky enough the head of the osprey is toast !!! I think you did as good as could be expected here !!!
