    40D. 300 f/4 non-IS and 1.4x. iso 400. f/8. 1/400.

    Hi Kaustubh, another wonderful flower bud! I love the colors in this one. The diagonal of the stem is very nice. Nice clean BG, some people might suggest cloning out the pink spot in the UL corner, but I don't mind it too much, because it complements the flowers in the subject. I would consider cropping a little of the top and left applying the rule of thirds.

    Very nice details and composition, Kaustubh...my only concern is with how large and overpowering the stem feels in the frame. I wonder if you had taken this image from the other side if that would have downplayed it a little bit better. I like the diagonal lines of it but it's so thick it really pulls my eye away from the bud itself.

    Kind of reminds me of when I photograph a small song bird on a thick, heavy limb...it just looks "odd."

    All the technicals of the image look good, though and it has some beautiful colors.
