    Default Wood duck

This is a wood duck I shot during a trip to San Diego last spring.

    Location: Santee Lakes, San Diego
    Equipment: Sony A900 + 400/4.5 + 1.4x TC (handheld)
    Specs: 1/1600, f/6.3, ISO 400, manual exposure

I like the water pattern, eye contact and sharpness. In PS I used the ruler tool to draw a line from catchlight to catchlight in the reflection. It needs about 2.7 degrees CCW rotation. Maybe a bit more room at the top if you have?

    Luis:

I agree with Axel's comments. I actually would like a bit more room all the way around.

    Very good exposure here.

Hi Luis, This is very nice. I agree with Randy that your exposure very good. Nice head angle, good details, and colors. I agree with the rotation and adding room. One additional minor comment is if this were mine I would remove the light dot that is in front and just above the bill on the reflection. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Luis, agree with rotation and more room, a bit too tight as presented.

Great subject and capture Luis! I agree with a little more room all around and removal of the white spot would make this image even better.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the comments.
Somehow I missed completely missed the rotation! Sometimes when I am lying on the floor I inadvertently rotate the camera.

I didn't have more room in the previous crop, but I reprocessed the original and recropped it trying to follow your suggestions:

    Have a good weekend!

Lovely light, species, sharpness, background. Agree on slight rotation.
