    Really tough conditions, grey overcast sky with backlighting, rain, and sudden action that caught me with too much lens, but no time to do anything but shoot and try to record the action. Alaska.

    Looks like a friendly encounter Mike :) Sure wish you could have been a little higher to have them all with green bg but would take it as is in a heartbeat !!! Big Congrats Mike !!!

    The lighting is fantastic to my eyes. It's great that you squeezed them in and ended up with a really nice tight crop. I agree that an all-green BG would have been nice, but, hey, you can't everything on every shot.

    the tight comp works well to place my focus on the action...I would be very stoked with this - love the soft light and oodles of detail.

    Nice interaction. I agree that it is better to shoot than try moving back and miss the action. Thanks for sharing.
