    Nice job, Arsdel. I like how the opposite diagonals of the bird and bg form an X. I'd like to suggest a slight boost in contrast to make the image pop a bit more.

    Yes, Arsdel, I agree with Amy - the angularity cross between bird and BG creates a lot of interest in this image. The dropped wings add to the interest. The bird is pretty much centered and I wonder if adding a bit of space on the left and removing a bit on the right might provide a more attractive balance. Just a thought.

    Nice and sharp and nice pose. Colour on the Rhododendron perch matches the BG well. Pity about the bright area on the right side of the BG. A little more room above and left may be worth trying and burning in the perch a bit.

    Nice pose and bird, the perch is good too. Agree about BG with Tony.
