Beautiful pose and wing position on this gorgeous male. Not sure I like the weeds under him, although I don't mind the ones behind. You may try and lighten the eye if it is OK with your post processing ethics. The dragonfly? is a nice touch.

I did already lighten the eye a bit but the light on it wasn't ideal, I left the weeds under the wing so you can see how low it is flying but I understand your comment.

The colors said so, but I didn't understand the wing spread, I guess the open them that way for flight.

Hi Lesley, I agree with Fabs. The pose and wing position are very pleasing. I like the color and simplicity of the background. The dragonfly adds a lot to the image in my opinion as it adds a story element to the image. Thanks for sharing.

I do not mind a lot the green grass under the wings but I agree with fabs about the face of the kite (a bit dark). The dragonfly is a great bonus to the scene and the BG is just fantastic :)
