I bet everyone who goes to Anhinga Trail takes this shot. I took it while my students were also shooting these guys a few weekends ago. The nice light caught my eye and the contrast of orange and greens.

Hi Paul, I really like the contrast of the greens and orange. I think that the green background helps enhance this contrast. Great detail and an interesting crop that displays the your subject very nicely. Thanks for sharing.

I never get tired of Cormies. Lots of detail and complimentary BG. I think this year we are going to get some blue mouths :)

BTW, long time no see :(

Very lovely capture of the cormie eye Paul. The lighting really shows off the color so well. Fine work !!

Very cool, Paul. Terrific color and detail, and obvious cooperation on the part of the cormie. Hope your workshop went well.

Man, I would need a 1800mm lens to make such a portrait like this of a spanish cormi :D

I just love the eye, fantastic, and the way it combines with the intense green in the Bg. Really good portrait Paul:)
