This image is inspired by the early pioneering work of Ernst Haas and his use of light in blur photography. This is a close-up view of the Yosemite falls with granite formation taken in the morning when the sunlight hits the falls. I used motion blur to selectively smoothen the water. Hope you like it...
This is a very appealing and intriguing image. I like the way the framing goes all the way around except at top where the water is entering. I checked out your reference since I hadn't really studied Haas's work. There are some interesting Motion photos in this gallery and a nice flower motion shot in the flora gallery. Thanks for the reference.
Nice work, Indranil - and I like how you used the motion blur for the water - great idea! I do wish that rock on the left side of the frame was even more prominent but I imagine that's a heavy mist floating up around it, right? Still, a very nice image.
really like this one.....I get the feeling of the vast bottomless void just amidst the mist.
Wondering what lurks below......I sense a "power" from the falls and the unknown.
