    This was taken in Florida last week. It is almost full frame. I think the bird might be a little too centered. I will post a few others with the owl off to the side. All C&Cs are welcome.

    I don't think the bird is too centered. The face may be centred, yes, but the body occupies the left part of the frame with the right part mostly empty space (except for a blade of grass). I might darken the eyes just a tad to make the yellows "deeper". I'd also eliminate the OOF plant touching the breast. I wish the head was tilted down more, but very nice photo. These guys are such fun to observe and photograph!

    Beautiful shot, all around, Jim. Those are some huge eyes, even for this critter. I think Daniel hit it on the nail to suggest darkening those eyes a little. I think that would make it even better. Either way, a nice image.

    Here is a re-post with the eyes darkened a little and the OOF plant at the chest removed. Thanks for the suggestions and comments.

    Jim, its a very sharp picture with a very good posse. I would certainly extend the canvas to accommodate more virtual leg.
