Spent five hours in 40C (106F) in a pleasantly cooling mud bath but the only bird I got was stilts. Only my ineptitude prevented a few other species but there's always next time.

Oh my Rob, this is gorgeous!! Great low angle, and the walking stride complete with swooping water trail is fantastic. Great BG too. If you have more space at bottom that would be great to add back, and careful with the sharpening halos visible around the bill. Congrats on a very fine image!:)

That water following the nails is what caught my attention as soon as I saw the image! Lovely bird and light, exposure looks great. So nice mood in this one.

Actually what I like about this image is the trailing foot with water cascading from it.
Rest of image is typical, but the foot action I love.

Plenty of moodiness, BG so supportive but the water from the foot action really tops it off. well done Rob!!

A beautiful image - lovely background, great pose including trailing drops, nicely composed and exposed. Halos noted (which could be removed); otherwise a very handsome shot indeed.

Rob, this is simply gorgeous with a very good low angle and the water droplets from the leg gives a very good sense of motion. Congrats!!
