Now that there's snow on the ground, I've got some different BGs to work with for my leaf photos. :) Any C&C are welcome!

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f4.6 @ 1/100, ISO 100, -0.3 EV
    Aperture priority mode, pattern metering
Processed in PS CS2; rotated the image a bit to place the leaf on a diagonal, cropped, curves and levels adjustments, channel mixer, and toned the image a bit using selective color

Christopher, I love the diagonal comp. and the frosty ice on the leaf is special. The snow looks good, I might tone down the lower right corner a bit. This has a really interesting look and I can feel a series coming on!!;):) Nice work as usual!

Denise totally nailed the critique...I was going to say exactly the same thing. It's nice to have something different to photograph - even if it IS snow!

Thanks Denise and Jules for your comments. Much appreciated. Denise, thanks for pointing out the LRC; definitely could use a little toning down. Oh and BTW, you can expect to see more leaf in snow images from me! :D;)

Christopher, I think that the details on this one are spectacular, but I prefer the toning on your more recent post.
    Best,
