    Hi Jan,

A very nice image. Rich color, sharp focus, smooth noise-free bg with nice environmental elements that give the shot depth, and a very striking bird. :)
The sharpening and contrasts on the bird seem a bit harsh to me tho... a little softer there would be nicer still I think.

    best regards,

    Kenn

Nice one Jan - love the gloss and pose. Sharpening looks OK to me - my memory of these was that the iridescence highlighted each feather as your shot shows.

    cheers

Very impressive bird that recalls a hummingbird to me. And good thing that you found it feeding/pollinating this flower. If mine, I would desat the yellows a tad.

Super shot Jan. I know how difficult it is to run after these beauties. Very sharp and good perch.

Lovely sharpness and posture - I know how difficult these guys are to get sharp. I would remove the OOF vegetation behind the bird?
